Easy & Healthy Pancakes

These pancakes are delicious and can be customized with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients:
* 1 cup whole wheat flour
* 1 tablespoon baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
* 1 cup of any milk of your choice
* 1 egg
*1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* Cooking spray or a small amount of oil for the pan

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt. If you want sweeter pancakes, you can add honey or maple syrup.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg (or prepare the flax egg) and then add the almond milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.

3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until combined (Be careful not to overmix)

4. Pour 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto a the non-stick skillet for each pancake. Cook until you see bubbles forming on the surface and the edges start to look set, usually about 2-3 minutes.

5. Flip the pancakes with a spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until they’re golden brown on both sides.

6. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining batter and serve the pancakes with your choice of toppings!! 👏
